Ponds are one of those features that can go from a real asset to a total headache pretty fast. Trees and brush move in along the banks, the water gets harder to see, and before long you can barely access the area - let alone enjoy it. That's exactly what we were working with on this property near St. Peter, MN.

The before shots tell the whole story. Dense stands of trees and tangled brush had taken over the pond banks on multiple sides. You couldn't get to the water's edge without pushing through a wall of growth. The pond was still there - it just wasn't usable in any practical sense.

We got in and handled the brush removal and tree clearing all the way around the site. The goal was simple: open it back up so the owner can actually use it and keep up with it going forward. Clean banks, clear sight lines, and easy access to the water.

What we ended up with is a pond that looks like it belongs on the property again. The surrounding slopes are open, the banks are clear, and the whole area is manageable. That's really what good land clearing comes down to - getting a space back to a point where it works for the people who own it.
